Some inspirations

Aesthetically, I've often found the visual connections between many of Mel Chin's pieces to be meandering and often unclear. In some ways it makes me hopeful about the trajectory of my own practice; I don't always think my new work is visually similar to old work, but I hope that audiences can find value in the shifting media as I explore how I want to say the things I wish to say to the world.
