Correcting our stories, one cheechee at a time...

"Cheechee" is a jailhouse casserole commonly made from a mix of ramen, cheese curls, squeeze cheese, and beefsteaks. Cheechee at the Kitchen of Corrections is inspired by dishes of the same name that have traditionally emerged from innovation behind bars.

Each serving of cheechee at Kitchen of Corrections is accompanied by a booklet of stories written by returning citizens about their experiences in prison. Below is a sample of one such story contributed by LaMark Foster.
